A. – Chlorate Zu dieser Gruppe gehören die Salze der Chlorsäure (HClO3) der Pos. 2811. 1) Natriumchlorat (NaClO3) wird durch Elektrolyse einer wässrigen Natriumchloridlösung gewonnen. Es bildet farblose, glänzende und in Wasser sehr leicht lösliche Kristalle (Tafeln) und gibt seinen Sauerstoff leicht ab. Es enthält oft Verunreinigungen (z. B. Chloride der Alkalimetalle). Es wird u. a. als Oxidationsmittel bei organischen Synthesen, beim Zeugdruck (Färben mit Anilinschwarz), bei der Herstellung von Initialzündern, von Zubereitungen für Zündholzköpfe, als Herbizid usw. verwendet. 2) Kaliumchlorat (KClO3) wird wie Natriumchlorat gewonnen. …
