Erläuterungen zum Harmonisierten System (HS) Die Erläuterungen zu Pos. 7204 gelten – soweit sie Abfälle und Schrott betreffen – sinngemäß für diese Position. Abfälle und Schrott aus Aluminium sind eine wichtige Rohmaterialquelle für die Aluminiumindustrie. Sie werden auch als Desoxidations- und Entkohlungsmittel bei der Eisen- und Stahlherstellung verwendet. Nicht zu dieser Position gehören: a) Schlacken, Zunder usw. aus der Eisen- und Stahlherstellung, die wiedergewinnbares Aluminium in Form von Silicaten enthalten (Pos. 2618 oder 2619). b) Aschen und Rückstände der Aluminiumherstellung (Pos. 2620). c) Rohblöcke (Ingots) und ähnliche Rohformen, aus eingeschmolzenen Abfällen oder Schrott, aus Aluminium (Pos. 7601).
