Hierher gehört auch Knoblauch aus einer einzigen Knolle ohne einzelne Zehen mit einem Durchmesser von ca. 25 mm bis 50 mm, für den im Handel die Bezeichnung ‚Soloknoblauch‘ (auch ‚solo garlic‘), ‚Knollenknoblauch‘, ‚Aglio Monobulbo‘ oder ‚Einzehenknoblauch‘ (oder eine ähnliche Handelsbezeichnung) verwendet wird. Nicht hierher gehört so genannter ‚Ackerknoblauch‘ oder ‚Elefantenknoblauch‘ (Allium ampeloprasum, Unterposition 0703 90 00), der aus einer einzigen Knolle mit einem Durchmesser von ca. 60 mm oder mehr besteht (d. h. bedeutend größer und schwerer als eine Knoblauchknolle mit mehreren Zehen ist). Die Arten Allium sativum und Allium ampeloprasum unterscheiden sich zudem in ihrer Erbmasse.

Das Erzeugnis ist aus der Position 0710 ausgeschlossen, da es nicht dem Begriff „gefroren“ im Sinne des Kapitels 7 entspricht (siehe Erläuterungen zum Harmonisierten System, Kapitel 7, Allgemeines, dritter Absatz).
