Die Früchte sind gewöhnlich groß, kugelig oder eiförmig, glatt oder rau; das Fruchtfleisch ist fest und saftig, gelborange oder weiß, von süßem Geschmack. Im mittleren Teil der Frucht, der faseriger und hohl ist, befinden sich zahlreiche ovale, abgeflachte, glänzende, gelblich weiße Samenkerne.
