Rekonstituiertes Leder wird aus den Grundbestandteilen Leder und Lederfasern hergestellt. Teilweise werden zur Erreichung besonderer Eigenschaften auch anteilig verfilzbare Stoffe wie Cellulose-, Synthese- oder Baumwollfasern mit verwendet.
