Papier poddawany jest trzykrotnemu powlekaniu mieszaniną substancji organicznych i nieorganicznych, stanowiących pozostałą część masy wyrobu (w tym skrobią, karboksymetylocelulozą, węglanem wapnia, bentonitem, kalafonią i siarczanem glinu).
