Dle deklarovaných údajů a předloženého vzorku se jedná o žáruvzdorný keramický tavící kelímek. Výrobek je z 99,8 % hmotnostních z oxidu křemičitého a je vyráběn v různých rozměrech dle individuálního požadavku. Používá se ve fotovoltaickém průmyslu jako teplotně a tvarově odolná nádoba pro tavení a krystalizaci čistého křemíkového ingotu v peci. Výrobek je schopen odolávat teplotám vyšším než 1500°C a je určen k použití za teplot vyšších než 1500°C. Výroba: vstupní surovina oxid křemičitý se zdrobňuje v kulovém mlýnu a mísí se s demineralizovanou vodou; nechává se zrát až do dosažení požadovaných parametrů (viskozita, vodivost); následuje odlévání směsi do sádrových forem, kde dochází po jejich demontáži a částečném vysušení k prvotní kontrole surového tvaru. Výrobky se potom vypalují v krokové peci, pro dosažení finální mikrostruktury. Při vypalování nedochází k tavení oxidu křemičitého, ale k jeho slinutí. Poté se frézují na přesné rozměrové tolerance. Baleno v kartonových obalech na paletách.
