Erläuterungen zum Harmonisierten System (HS) Zur Gewinnung von Wolfram werden hauptsächlich die Erze Wolframit (Eisen-Mangan-Wolframat) und Scheelit (Calcium-Wolframat) verwendet, die in Wolframsäure umgewandelt werden. Die Reduktion der Wolframsäure zu metallischem Wolfram erfolgt in der Regel entweder im Elektroofen durch Wasserstoff oder in Schmelztiegeln bei hoher Temperatur durch Aluminium oder Kohle. Das so gewonnene pulverförmige reine Metall wird auf der hydraulischen Presse zu Rohblöcken (Ingots) oder prismenförmigen Stangen gepresst, die dann im Elektroofen in eine Wasserstoffatmosphäre gebracht werden. Die sich im Laufe dieses Vorganges entwickelnde große Hitze bewirkt, dass die Pulverteilchen zu einer festen und widerstandsfähigen Masse sintern, ohne dass dabei die Stangen zerfallen. …

L 127/26) (RV L 21/600) Stäbe aus Wolframlegierung mit einem Wolframgehalt von mehr als 94 GHT und einem Lanthangehalt von 1,5 GHT, mit einer Länge von 150 mm und einem Durchmesser von 3 mm. Die Stäbe sind nicht nur durch Sintern hergestellt, nicht mit Dekapier- oder Flussmittel umhüllt oder gefüllt. Sie haben stumpfe Enden (d. h. keine Spitzen) und sind einzeln farblich markiert.
