Ve výměníku dochází k cirkulaci teplonosného media (voda nebo nemrznoucí směs), které předává teplo na povrch hliníkových lamel, na které působí chladící medium ve formě vzduchu. Takto se teplonosné medium okolním vzduchem ochlazuje. Chladící výkon je posílen vestavěnými ventilátory. Konstrukce rámu a opěry jsou vyrobeny z pozinkované oceli. Skříň z pozinkovaných plátů ocelového plechu s epoxidovým nátěrem. Výměník tepla je vyroben z měděných trubek a hliníkových žeber, dále je vybaven ventilátory s třífázovými motory (400 V/ 50 Hz) s vnějším rotorem.
