Gasanalysemodul zur kontinuierlichen, nicht-invasiven Messung der Kohlendioxidkonzentration, im Wesentlichen bestehend aus einem Gehäuse mit Sensor mit Infrarotlichtquelle und einem Fotodetektor, einem Verbindungskabel zum Anschließen an ein Beatmungsgerät, einer Probenleitung, einer Wasserfalle und einer Status-LED-Anzeige (siehe Abbildung in der Anlage). Die Messung des Kohlendioxidgehaltes erfolgt durch die Messung der Absorption von Infrarotlicht einer bestimmten Wellenlänge durch die CO2-Moleküle. Die zu analysierenden Atemgase werden durch eine Messzelle geleitet. Dort wird das von der Infrarotlichtquelle abgegebene Licht durch die Messzelle an den Fotosensor geleitet, um durch Infrarotabsorptionsspektroskopie den Kohlendioxidgehalt im Atemstrom eines zu beatmenden Patienten zu ermitteln. Das Gasanalysemodul wird an ein Beatmungsgerät (nicht Gegenstand dieser vZTA-Entscheidung) und dient der kontinuierlichen Messung des CO2-Konzentration im Atemgasstrom des Patienten. Die Einreihung der Ware als Teil eines Beatmungsgerätes der Position 9019 kommt nicht in Betracht, da sich das Gasanalysemodul als Ware der Position 9027 darstellt und daher gemäß Anmerkung 2 a) zu Kapitel 90 dieser Position zuzuweisen ist. Die Ware wird als "elektronisches Untersuchungsgerät für Gase und Rauch" eingereiht.

Pro snadnou vizualizaci kvality ovzduší zobrazuje čidlo hodnoty koncentrace na šesti úrovňové stupnici. Naměřené hodnoty pak lze analyzovat na průměry za poslední 1 hodinu, 24 hodin nebo na maxima za poslední 1 hodinu, 24 hodin nebo od posledního vynulování (v závislosti na modelu hlavní jednotky). Rozsah měření koncentrace CO2: 400 až 5000 ppm.
