Erläuterungen zur Kombinierten Nomenklatur (KN) Wegen der Auslegung des Begriffs „bearbeitet“ gelten die Erläuterungen zu Position 9601 des HS, zweiter Absatz sinngemäß. Nicht hierhin gehören z. B. Waren aus wiedergewonnenem Meerschaum oder Bernstein in Form von Platten, Stäben und dergleichen, die keiner weiteren Bearbeitung als einem einfachen Formen unterzogen wurden (Position 2530).

Zu Unterposition 9602 00: 1. Ware aus Wachs, mit Silber plattiert in Form eines Pfirsichs. Das Herstellungsverfahren besteht im Modellieren der Form in Wachs und dem Aufsprühen einer Schicht aus Messingpulver (Cu-Zn) auf die gesamte Oberfläche der Wachsform. Die Ware wird dann mit einer Silberschicht (im Durchschnitt mit einer Dicke von 0,184 mm) galvanisch überzogen. Die dünne Lage (0,01 mm) aus Kupferlegierung dient nur als leitende Schicht für die elektrolytische Abscheidung des Silbers.
